Poster Presentation Awards
YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD
The Organizing Committee prepared ICHO & JCTM 2012 Young Investigator
Award (YIA) with 10,000 Japanese yen each to up to about 6 persons. The
poster sessions consisted of 3 categories, and there will be 2 recipients
from each category. This award will be given to the outstanding work to
be presented in the poster session at the ICHO & JCTM 2012. The president of ICHO will announce the awardees
at the YIA Ceremony, Summary & Closing Remarks. The award is contingent
on attendance at the ceremony. Recipients must attend at the ceremony otherwise
the applicants will not receive the awards.
Application requirements
1.
Applicant should be a presenting author of abstract accepted for poster
session.
2.
All poster presentations whose presenting author is 40 years old or younger at the time of the Congress are eligible.
The review committee will evaluate the poster displays as well as short
oral presentations from the scientific qualitty.

YOUNG INVESTIGATOR TRAVEL AWARD
The purpose of the Young Investigator Travel Award is to assist eligible abstract presenters in attending the ICHO & JCTM 2012 from abroad. There will be a total of 5 recipients and each will be given 100,000 Japanese yen to support travel and accommodation expenses.
The decisions will be made by the Organizing Committee and will be notified to the successful awardees before the Congress. The recipients will be awarded the prize in cash at the Opening Ceremony or the Welcome Party.
Application requirements
1.
Applicant should be a presenting author of abstract accepted for poster
session.
2.
Applicants should be 40 years old or younger at the time of the Congress and should be from abroad.
After the initial review of application abstracts, the review committee will send another application form to the nominees who are deemed competitive for the award.

POSTER PRESENTATION AWARDS New!
During the meeting, the review committee will evaluate all the poster displays
as well as short oral presentations. Posters that are excellent but not
selected for YIA and YITA will be commended in Summary and Closing Remarks.
A plaque and a memorial souvenir will be awarded to each recipients by
the President of ICHO. The award is contingent on attendance at the Closing
Ceremony. Recipients must attend the ceremony otherwise the award becomes
invalid.
